When it comes to accounting for your business do you mainly use an accountant when starting out or us an accounting software? Can anyone let me know what their preference is? Also if you use software yourself, what would you recommend?

If you’re just starting out, then Xero would be good software for accounting, or maybe Kashoo. Either of those are good, and there’s even free accounting software out there. You’ll definitely want something. It’s good to be organized and if you start that way, then you’ll have an easier time later on. You probably won’t need any kind of book keeper at first, but you could use the help of an accountant around tax time.

Well since we are a small account practice we tend to do our own in-house lol. But we work with a lot of companies that say they like the personal feel they get from actually working with a person. We can explain everything we are doing step by step and we give you all of our focus. Both are good options but I always go with hiring an actual accountant.

We use waveapps, which is totally free. They make money if you use them for invoicing since they take a percentage of the bill like Visa or Mastercard. Give them a look if you’re still in the market for help with accounting.

We started out doing things on our own them moved to Xero because it was good software for accounting. We still keep that on file so we can make sure everything is on the up and up but we also hired and accountant who has years of experience. I am not a numbers person when it comes to accounting so I needed someone who know what they were looking for.

I would say it’s a mix of both that’ll give the best result. Decisions and Strategic thinking very much require human interaction. Whereas, for keeping records and doing repetitive/non-value adding tasks can be automated.

I think, It depends upon your business needs. Personally, I am using quickbooks accounting software. It’s online/desktop/cloud based software. It was created specifically for personal and small business accounting use.

It’s a full fledged accounting and bookkeeping software. I am using it to manage my invoices and expense tracking. It is simple, easy to use and user friendly tool. Using this software to my cash flow got better now.
