Has anyone tried any of these sites for ways to help fund their companies? We are looking for creative ways to get funding besides taking out loans or getting cc and wanted to see what other people have done.

The main differences between Kickstarter and Indigogo that you will want to take into account.
    Kickstarter
They are fixed all or nothing which means that you either make your goal or you don’t get anything at all.

    Indigogo
They give you options to either take a fixed rate or flexible get whatever you raised.

If you think there is a chance you may not make your desired budget then I recommend Indigogo but Kickstarter does have more benefits.

There’s other choices, too. I was wondering about this topic so I looked it up. There’s also RocketHub, FundRazr, Pozible, Fundable and others.

With those other ones would it make sense to use one that is not as well known? Do you think people are more prone to giving money to a more well-known company compared to one that has little recognition?
