This was an interesting topic I saw before and I wanted to get some input. When it comes to hiring new employees, do you check their social media? Some might say its an invasion of privacy but if it is open for everyone to see why not use it? What are your thoughts about the process?
We absolutely check social media, a large part of peoples lives seems to be online these days. We are working in a fast paced industry with construction and we don’t want anyone who we don’t think could take the job seriously or works bad with others. If you don’t want it seen then you should be smart about what you put online.
