I thought it would be interesting to ask my fellow kingmakers – did you start your business because you found a potential unfulfilled niche, you had a desire inside that needed to be released or you were tired of working for someone else and realized you could do it better?

For me, it was the group of people I was hanging out with at the time. That has a lot to do with one’s development if you ask me. I was with a bunch of smart people who were all doing their own thing, and it gave me confidence to strike out on my own. It was scary, but somehow I made it work! Planning helped too. Less unknowns.

I’m planning on starting a business soon. I’m in the planning phase. I think what motivates me is not having a commute. I want to work from home and I see other people doing it. I’m working on a way to do business from here.

We found a niche in the concert market that wasn’t being fulfilled to it’s potential in the United States. We are still at the beginning stages of getting our events together but the following we have gained is slowly growing and we can see the future in what we plan to do.
