Even if you do not run reports for payroll, you will still want to clear old time off users’ time sheets so that they reflect the current week or cycle. Use the Archive time feature for this.
Select the Archive Time button in the left menu and then select the date range, users, any other required selections, and click Archive. On the next page, select the timestamps you wish to archive and click the final archive button. Archiving time is an alternative method of closing out old time and differs from closing payroll in that no report is generated and no calculations such as overtime, rounding, or deductions are applied.
The Archive Time process is ideal for users who do not get paid for time worked, such as volunteers or students, or for users who track time for accountability reasons only, such as salaried employees.
