Edits made by anyone but administrators create alerts that a supervisor must approve or deny. By default, supervisor authorization is required for all edits. When there are pending edits, an Alerts button displays at the top of the left menu. If the button does not appear, then there are no Alerts. If you don’t want user edits to generate alerts, you can change the permissions in the Company Settings, on the Hourly tab.
Click the Alerts button to authorize, deny, or edit the alerts. The Alerts page contains more in-depth instructions on how to resolve them. All alerts within a given pay period must be resolved prior to closing that period.
