When users clock in or out, a popup box prompts them to accept geolocation sharing. If they decline, the clock in or out doesn’t register. If they accept, the clock punch is recorded on the user’s timesheet.

If the box does not appear at all, the user should go into the browser settings (if on a computer), find the privacy settings, and make sure location sharing is enabled. On a mobile phone the user should also make sure that location sharing is enabled.
