You'll be able to set up each user's accrual type and schedule exactly the way you want. We can allocate accruals by hours worked or according to a preset schedule. You can also set roll over values or define use-it-or-lose it rules.

Accrual Types & Rates

Customize accruable time off categories like sick and vacation time, and non-accruable time off types like holiday and jury duty. You can use any of the standard accrual rates like yearly, bimonthly, weekly, and even by-hours-worked to track employee leave time. You won't have to worry about time accruing indefinitely. All accruable time off categories can be capped with a maximum allowable balance so that time stops accruing at a preset limit.

PTO By Hours Worked

Many states and cities mandate paid sick leave to accrue, at a minimum, on a by-hours-worked basis. That's why you need Timesheets.com. Our service tracks by-hours-worked time off accruals correctly and can be capped annually to prevent an employee from accruing more than they're due in a 12-month period. You can still allow roll-overs from year to year. The by-hours-worked accrual method can be used with any type of time off including vacation and PTO.

Time Off Requests

Timesheets.com takes the burden off of managers with user-initiated time off requests. Employees enter their own time off requests so that managers just have the simple task of approving or denying them. Managers can compare leave requests against available balances on our time off calendar as they make their decisions.

Time Off Calendar

Yes, employees can request time off using a simple form accessible from within their account. Their manager would then approve or deny the request for time off. Once a time off request is approved, time would be debited from the employee's accrual balance if applicable. Timesheets.com helps managers understand time off requests by displaying the date requested and the employee's accrued balance for reference along side the request. 

Yes! Timesheets.com can track a number of different types of accrued balances on a per type and per user basis.  For instance, we can track both a worker's PTO balance accrued annually at 80 hours per year and also their sick time balance accrued each pay period using a by hours worked formula.

Yes, Timesheets.com is able to accommodate almost any by hours worked rate and annual cap. We can also apply use-it-or-lose it rules or year end trimming where appropriate.
